Windows AD Fundamentals
Master the core concepts of Windows Active Directory (AD) by building, managing, and analyzing a real AD environment the way it’s used in enterprise networks.
Overview
This project introduces you to Active Directory fundamentals from the ground up.
You will understand how enterprises centrally manage users, computers, groups, authentication, and access control using Active Directory.
You’ll perform real administrative and security-focused tasks such as:
- Creating users and groups
- Managing Organizational Units (OUs)
- Understanding Kerberos authentication
- Applying Group Policies
- Analyzing AD-related security events
By the end of this project, you’ll understand how identity works in Windows enterprise environments and how SOC teams monitor AD for threats.
What You'll Learn
